CABANATUAN CITY (PIA) – Central Luzon’s first Department of Health (DOH) Wellness Clinic has opened at SM Megacenter in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, bringing health information, guidance, and services closer to the public.
According to DOH Nueva Ecija, the facility aims to encourage the public to focus not only on treating illnesses but also on preventing diseases, maintaining good health, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Located in an accessible and busy area, the DOH Wellness Clinic is expected to reach more individuals and families and provide them with opportunities to take better care of their health.
The opening of the clinic resulted from the collaboration among the DOH Central Luzon Center for Health Development, DOH Nueva Ecija, the local government and City Health Office of Cabanatuan, and SM Megacenter, highlighting the importance of public-private partnerships in strengthening health services.
DOH Nueva Ecija highlighted the establishment of the facility as part of efforts to make health services more accessible and responsive to the needs of the public.
In his fifth State of the Nation Address, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening the country’s health sector.
The establishment of the DOH Wellness Clinic contributes to this broader goal by expanding public access to health services. (CLJD/MAECR, PIA Region 3-Nueva Ecija)
