CLARK FREEPORT— With its aim to promote awareness on the proper disposal, treatment and management of hazardous wastes, Clark Development Corp’s best practices in organizing Recyclables and Collection event was showcased in the 34th Philippine Chemistry Congress in Cebu City.
CDC–Environmental Permits Division (EPD) asst. manager Mayflor Candelaria presented her research paper titled: “Management of Lamp Wastes (Hg) in the Clark Freeport Zone: The CDC Experience.”
The presentation showcased the collection of selected office, household and hazardous wastes by CDC’s EPD, in partnership with the Environmental Practitioners Association and the Environmental Management Bureau in Central Luzon since 2010 during the annual RCE.
