In a 14-page decision penned by Judge Richard Paradesa, RTC, Branch 72, sentenced for life imprisonment were Jerry Tesorero, 38 and his elder brother Ignacio, 32 both residents of Barangay Mabayuan, Olongapo City. They were also ordered to pay the amount of P500,000.
The conviction of the duo was based on the testimony and evidences submitted by the DEG apprehending operatives.
It was recalled that on August 8, 2003, the brothers were nabbed in a buy-bust operation by DEG operatives led by SPO1 Alfredo Flores, SPO1 Allan Delos Reyes and PO1 Sherly Banag. Seven grams of shabu were recovered from the suspects’ possession.
The suspects are temporarily detained at the Olongapo City District Jail for transfer to the National Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.
