CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – This city’s premier, Bliss Hotel, has tapped local bands for its post-Valentine street concert doubling up as capping event to Kaganapan 2014, the celebration of the 13th cityhood anniversary here.
“A new kind of experience for the city and an opportunity to bring to light local talents,” said Noli Reyes, Bliss Hotel manager, of the February 22 street concert set right in front of the hotel along Lazatin Boulevard in Barangay Dolores here.
Detours have been designated to ease traffic fl ow, Reyes added, from 1 p.m. to 12 midnight on concert day.
With youth as primary target, the concert will feature White Lies, Nakapsan and Sympohonic bands – known for their rock ballads, R&B, retro and new wave sounds. Tickets are priced at P300, with complimentary glass of
bear and plateful of pulutan.”
The concert is co-sponsored by San Miguel Beer Corp., Smart, GNN 44, and dwGV-99.1 FM.
