Bizman gunned down in Subic freeport

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – The chief executive of an auction company was shot dead by still unidentified motorcycle- riding gunmen Wednesday night inside this freeport.

The victim was identified as Dominic Sytin, president and founder of United Auctioneers Inc.

Reports said that at about 7:49 p.m. Wednesday, Sytin together with his friends were about to enter the Lighthouse Resort and Hotel when the assailants riddled him with bullets on the head.

Sytin was declared dead on the spot while his bodyguard is in critical condition at a nearby hospital.

Police investigators recovered empty shells of still undetermined caliber at a sidewalk in Moonbay Marina Complex.

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority chairman Wilma Eisma ordered a lockdown at the freeport after the incident.

Authorities are still conducting investigation as to the motive of killing and the identities of the killers.
