Pasay City, Philippines—October 21, 2025—For its first-ever appearance at Manila FAME, Pampanga-based furniture design and manufacturing brand Arksmith made waves with its immersive booth featuring the Ysla Collection, a sensory experience that invited guests to see, touch, hear, and even taste the tropics.
Visitors were captivated by the booth’s island-inspired storytelling. Guests were encouraged to sit, lounge, and truly feel the quality craftsmanship of each piece, handcrafted by Pampanga artisans using organic textures and finishes. The tactile warmth of the furniture was paired with thoughtful details: island-themed giveaways served as souvenirs, while ambient sounds and visuals completed the experience. Each interaction offered a “little vacation” within the event, bringing the Ysla Collection’s vision of rest and connection to life.

Crowd favorites included the Rosas Chair, a Katha Award finalist admired for its sculpted petal form, and the one-of-a-kind Sun Loungers, which featured woven framing and all-weather fabric that perfectly captured the spirit of tropical living.
A newcomer to the Manila FAME scene, Arksmith drew in the crowds and did not disappoint: its debut was met with overwhelming love and support from attendees and fellow designers alike. “It was heartwarming to see guests connect so deeply with our story and pieces,” shared IDr. Rain Alqaseer-del Rosario, founder and designer of Arksmith.
With the conclusion of Manila FAME, Arksmith is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of its new showroom in Angeles, Pampanga, set to welcome visitors later this year—a new home for Filipino craftsmanship and contemporary island-inspired design.
