HERMOSA, Bataan — An Aeta native was hacked to death by his own son for still unknown reasons inside their residence in Sitio Pastulan here at dawn of Saturday.
Hermosa police chief Major Jeffrey S. Onde said family members reported the hacking to death of Danilo Abraham, 59, by his own son Erwin Abraham, 25, at past 3 a.m in the Aeta sitio of Barangay Tipo.
A daughter of the victim said they were awakened by the scream of their father asking for help while their brother was hacking him several times.
Onde said investigation revealed that the suspect was taking psychiatric medication after he was brought to a psychiatrist in Olongapo city.
The young Abraham was placed under the custody of the Hermosa police.
Onde said the suspect will be charged for parricide.
