ANGELES CITY — Councilor Amos Rivera, on Saturday, organized a donation drive here via Facebook dubbed “Mission I’m Possible” to help the victims of typhoon Ulysses in Cagayan.
Rivera said there are people who have been reaching out to him and willing to help but don’t have means on how to send donations to reach the typhoon victims in Cagayan.
“Dakal bisang mamiye saup keti, ala lamu bridge and access kung makananu. I have already communicated with some of my friends king AFP, military for the transport and delivery,” he said.
“Para convenient kareng bisang mag-donate like malan, canned goods, we will pick up the donations and mag-start ku pa this week,” (For convenience of those who want to donate clothes, canned goods, we will pick up the donations and we will start this week.) he added.
Apart from the donation drive, Rivera has also sent relief packs to some of the victims from typhoon Ulysses in this city as part of his own initiative to continue helping the locals amid the pandemic.
