Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates proudly participated in the Angel Trabaho Fair at Tulong Panghanapbuhay para sa Manggagawang Tarlaqueño, held on April 26, 2024 (Friday) at the Tarlac Gymnatorium, Baras-Baras, Tarlac City. Organized under the direction of City Mayor Maria Cristina C. Angeles, this initiative aimed at providing valuable employment opportunities specifically for the local residents of Tarlac.
In collaboration with the Aboitiz Group, three esteemed companies — LIMA Land, Inc. for LIMA Estate, PILMICO Foods Corporation, and Aboitiz Construction, Inc. — joined hands to participate in the job fair. Additionally, Epson Precision (Philippines), an anchor locator at LIMA Estate, extended its reach beyond Batangas to seek new talent, thereby enhancing the scope of employment opportunities available.
Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates showcased 25 job opportunities for its developments in Batangas and Tarlac, while PILMICO Foods Corporation presented 21 vacancies in its offices located in Tarlac, Taguig, and Cebu. Additionally, Aboitiz Construction, Inc. presented 89 job opportunities, while Epson Precision (Philippines) offered 2000 positions for production operators and 10 for staff engineers. These opportunities represent a significant step towards bridging the gap between job seekers and available employment in the region.
Companies within the Aboitiz Group, including Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates (LIMA Land, Inc.), PILMICO Foods
Corporation, and Aboitiz Construction, alongside LIMA Estate’s anchor locator Epson Precision (Philippines), actively engaged with
job seekers in Tarlac during the fair, inviting them to explore career opportunities within their organizations.
“Through our developments, we aim not just to create jobs but also to foster economic growth and development in the communities we operate in,” says Chino Zamora, Assistant Vice President of Tarlac Operations at Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates. The upcoming TARI Estate in Tarlac City, the fourth Estate under Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates’ portfolio, is poised to play a pivotal role in achieving this mission.
TARI Estate, a 200-hectare development of prime industrial lots in its initial phase, is expected to attract both local and international investors, thereby fueling further economic expansion and employment opportunities. Leveraging the collective expertise of Aboitiz Group affiliates, the estate will embrace a holistic approach to foster sustainable development and growth in Tarlac.
Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates remains committed to its mission of empowering communities and driving economic growth. Through initiatives like job fairs, the company continues to make meaningful contributions to the Filipino workforce and economy.
