Bataan PNP conduct gift-giving to IPs

BALANGA City: The Philippine National Police in Bataan have conducted Christmas gift-giving activity for the Indigenous Peoples in the province.

The activity with the theme “Pamaskong Handog para sa mga Katutubo ng Bataan” was held at the covered court of Camp Cirilo S. Tolentino, provincial office in Balanga City of the Bataan PNP.

Colonel Palmer Tria, Bataan police director, led the gift-giving to 150 IPs with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to the natives during the Christmas season.

Tria with other police officers distributed gift packs containing food items, clothing, toys to the Aeta natives. The police officers also provided entertainment by singing Christmas carols and dancing while a group of IPs showed their native dance.

The police PD emphasized the importance of promoting peace and unity among all members of the community, regardless of cultural or ethnic differences.

He also thanked the IPs for their cooperation with the police and their contribution to the
development of the province.
