Cute puppies and grown dogs joined the graduating group of rescued pets from Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) at SM City Tarlac on July 23.
Gemma and Escobar, two of the adoptive dogs, have been best buddies for a very long time. AKF referred them as “The Loyal Dogs”. Their owner passed away in December after a heart attack. Unaware that their furdad would not be returning, they waited for him in front of his apartment’s door every day until AKF learned of their plight. There is no parting ways for the two as they were adopted together by Lumibao Family of Tarlac City.
Aside from the two devoted dogs, Yumi, also known as the Tripod Dog, officially joined the graduates. Despite having 3 legs, Yumi captured the hearts of Caluya Family from Victoria Tarlac.
A total of 13 adorable furbabies from AKF found their forever homes. Since 2022, AKF and SM City Tarlac has been good partners in conducting Pet Adoption Drive and other activities for pets at the mall.
