“This is indeed a historic and unforgettable day. For a long time, this has been a dream to every resident of Tarlac City—to have our very own hospital that offers low cost and quality health service. Today is the start of turning that dream into a reality,” she said.

The mayor extended her gratitude to those who contributed in the endeavor namely New Tarlac Realty Co. Inc., Department of Health (DOH), Department of Public Works and Highways, and the Offices of Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva, Senate Minority Leader Koko Pimentel and Senators Pia Cayetano and Bong Go.

Meanwhile, DOH Regional Director Corazon Flores lauded the city government for providing Tarlaqueños an equal access to health care.

Flores likewise expressed her support in ensuring that the hospital will be equipped with the needed resources and workforce for the benefit of the residents and the neighboring towns.

“We will construct this building and we want to make it functional by creating the positions, building, equipment, drugs and medicines, and health workers,” she said.
