IBA, Zambales – Four suspected drug pushers were arrested by operatives of Zambales PNP in simultaneous anti-drug operations in Iba and Castillejos towns Tuesday.
Chief Inspector Oriano Mina, Castillejos municipal police station chief, identified the suspects as Mark Mendoza, 19 and Ricky Domingo, 19, both construction workers and residents of Purok 2, Barangay Nagbunga, San Marcelino, Zambales.
The suspects were nabbed selling marijuana worth P200 to a police poseur buyer.
Recovered from the suspects’ possessions were four pieces of large plastic sachets containing suspected dried marijuana leaves and marked money.
In Iba, Zambales, police arrested Naira Rasul, 35, of Libaba, Zone 1 and Gerald Artates, 38, of Purok 6, Barangay Amungan.
Recovered from Rasul, was a large heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet of shabu and marked money amounting to P2,000 while Artates yielded P1,000 marked money and sachets of shabu.
All the suspects are facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article ll of RA 9165.
