CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga— The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), upon the instruction of Governor Dennis Delta Pineda, is currently conducting a 3-day Province-wide Greenhouse Gases (GHG) Inventory Training Workshop in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environment Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) starting October 12-14.
The said training aims to equip participants with necessary baseline data and climate indicators to guide local plans and PPAs involving Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation.
PDRRM Officer Angie Blanco welcomed the participants from all 21 local government units of Pampanga during the opening program held today, October 12, at the Orchids Garden, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The training participants include City/Municipal DRRM Officers, Environment and Natural Resources Officers, Planning and Development Coordinators, Engineers, Accountants, and Agriculture Officers.
The GHG Inventory Training is one of the province’s initiatives to pursue disaster resilience.
