BALANGA CITY (PIA) — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed a farm-to-market road (FMR) in Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The infrastructure located in barangay San Simon resulted in improved mobility of people, products, and services.
DPWH Bataan 1st District Engineer Erlindo Flores Jr. said the project is a joint undertaking of the agency and Department of Agriculture.
It was implemented in two different sections of the San Simon FMR.
“A total of 666.00-linear meters of the road were improved under Section I, while 427.83 linear meters were concreted under Section II of this project,” Flores disclosed.
Implementation of projects like FMRs are among the priority plans of the current administration to help improve the agricultural sector.
