BALANGA CITY – Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III on Wednesday announced that
Bataan is ready for the face-to-face classes and assured that public elementary
and secondary schools are prepared for the opening on Aug. 22.
The governor said that he conducted a meeting with officials of the Department
of Education Schools Division of Bataan and Schools Division of Balanga City and
members of the provincial school board.
Discussed in the meeting were measures for the safety of school children in this
time of the pandemic.
Dr. Tony Leachon, Bataan provincial health consultant, dealt on the importance of
classrooms with proper ventilation, availability of enough supply of face masks for
children and teachers and access to handwashing or sanitation areas.
governor said.
