MABALACAT CITY- The Mabalacat City Water District (MCWD) had added more payment collection partners “to serve consumers better and their transactions easier.”

“Water bill payments used to be made only at the MWCD main office along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Mabiga and the sub-offices at the Camachiles, Mawaque and Madapdap resettlement centers,” MCWD noted.

Now, however, consumers have even more options to pay nearer their homes. The new payment centers include Unity Bank beside Explorer bookstore in Dau from working Tuesdays to Fridays, LandBank beside AISAT in Dau, Producers’ Bank in Dau in front of MetroBank, Postal Bank in Dau beside Our Lady of Victory Parish, Bank of Florida near Quitangil bridge, all from Monday to Friday.

Payments will also be accepted in all hypermart or department stores of SM malls in Pampanga, from Monday to Sunday and even holidays.. This, even as MCWD also said that its water services have been greatly boosted with the opening of its P13-million pumping station along Peras St. in Dau Homesite and two major pipelines.

The pipelines included a one-kilometer long, eight-inch diameter pipe from the newly constructed pumping station and another 500 meter distribution line in the area. MCWD said the projects now distribute water to more consumers who now also enjoy increased water pressure in Dau Homesite and adjacent barangays that cover commercial areas in the Dau district in this city.
