ANGELES CITY – The local government here under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on March 10 to 12, 2022 deployed five mobile bus clinics at terminals, boundaries, and outside of malls for the Ronda Bakuna booster shots of Angeleños and non-residents.

This is to join the national government’s three-day National Vaccination Drive, with 3 mobile bus clinics, 2 Ambulance Vax clinics, and the 400-strong vaccination team led by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, also the chief implementer of the city government’s vaccination program.

Mayor Lazatin said this is in a bid towards herd immunity, assisting neighboring towns and cities in their vaccination program.

The city will accommodate all Angeleños and non-residents who have been fully vaccinated until December 10, 2021.

When it comes to supplies, City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra said the National Vaccination Operation Center is continuously delivering vaccines to the city.

Also manning the ground as commanders are City Social Welfare and Development Officer Edna Duaso and Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer-in-Charge Rodolfo Simeon.

Aside from this initiative, the mega vaccination sites at the City College of Angeles and Angeles City National High School are operational especially for the unvaccinated and those for second dose.

To date, 370,085 Angeleños already received their first dose of vaccines; 337,423 are fully vaccinated; and 64,318 got their booster shots.
