SAN MARCELINO, Zambales — Two men wanted for child abuse were arrested by operatives of this town’s police station on Thursday.
San Marcelino acting chief of police Capt. Teddy R. Padauan said Salvador Ledesma y Hinugen, 47, of Purok 2, Barangay Rabanes, was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for violation of RA 7610 – for acts of lasciviousness in relation to Sec. 5(B) Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse under Criminal Case No. 2021-404FC.
Padauan added that Jose Callo y Viala, 41, a resident of the same barangay was also arrested on similar charges under Criminal Case No. 2021-412FC.
Both warrants of arrest were issued by Presiding Judge Gemma Theresa B. Hilario-Logronio of the Third Judicial Region, Branch 12, Olongapo City, dated Oct. 11, 2021 with recommended bail of P200,000 each.
Both suspects are presently under the custody of San Marcelino MPS.
