TARLAC CITY – The provincial government of Tarlac reaped the regional and national Kabalikat Award from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
The award is the highest accolade given to institutions and individuals who have invested and partnered with TESDA for human capital development.
“I am both blessed and honored to be receiving both the Regional and National Kabalikat Award for the 5th time. This award is not only my achievement but of the province as a whole,” Gov. Susan Yap said, citing the collective efforts of Tarlaqueños.
Yap guaranteed that government service continues for the skills development of her constituents.
One of the skills development programs is the Tarlac Center for Learning and Skills Success (TCLASS) formerly Training Placement and Network Program which offers free technical-vocational trainings.
It seeks to prepare citizens for future labor opportunities for economic growth and development.
Completing trainings through TCLASS provides trainees with National Certificate II essential in applying for jobs in the labor market. — By Gabriela Liana Barela/PIA- 3
