MABALACAT CITY – Notorious “Roxas District” in Barangay Dau here surfaced in the drug map again Thursday with the arrest of five suspects and seizure of P130,000-worth of shabu in a drug sting executed by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 3.
In a report to national headquarters, PDEA-3 director Bryan Babang said the operations also resulted to the dismantling of a drug den in the area maintained by one of the suspects. He identified those arrested as suspects as Edwin Deotoy, Ruben Garcia, Jimmy Del Monte, Eduardo Tuazon, and Jomelhyn Dungca, all of legal age.
Seized from the suspects were 20 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P136,000, the marked money used in the operation, and drug papaphernalia.
The suspects now face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. With PDEA-PR
