MABALACAT CITY – Playing the game of cat-and-mouse that will soon turn into romance, Kiko (Gab Lagman) and Hannah (Alexa Ilacad) have finally realized they have fallen for each other as Book 2 of the hit teleserye Init sa Magdamag begins.
In an online press conference held July 12, Alexa and Gab shared that they both discovered how their chemistry can evolve especially during tapings as they get to know each other and share things in common such as food.
“It’s not your typical aso’t pusa, nagbabangayan. Yung buhay nila isang malaking adventure. Yung character development nila and how they care for each other na kahit nagbabangayan sila meron pa rin alam mo pa rin na nandun yung care ni Hannah,” said Alexa.
“I accepted the challenge and thankful ako na si Alexa ang ka-work ko. Meron akong mga scenes na nagawa na hindi ko alam na kaya ko pala gawin. Ang dami talaga pinagdaanan ni Kiko dahil halos malungkot ang mga scenes. But I’m happy and grateful sa Init sa Magdamag,” Gab said.
Init sa Magdamag is Gab and Alexa’s first project as a love team and hopes to do more projects in the future as they continue to develop their closeness together and deliver the kilig factor.
“I am very pleased with how everything turned out, acting-wise, lalo na maganda yung reception ng mga tao. I think Gab and I are doing very well. We are in good hands. We have this certain closeness na na-build, na kahit matagal kaming hindi magkita, may certain connection and very comfortable kami sa isa’t isa,” said Alexa.
“Walang uneasy moment sa aming dalawa kahit na first day of work. Pwede na ako mag-joke in her presence. Na-break agad ang ice,” Gab added.
