Adding more accommodation options for domestic and international travelers, PIRC has opened its all-new South Wing last June 23. This multiple-use hotel has increased its inventory by 65% with the addition of 100 new rooms and suites, in line with the projected rise in passenger traffic at the Clark International Airport, which is located just 10 minutes’ drive away.

Leading to the opening of South Wing, the Department of Tourism (DOT) regional director Carol Uy said during her speech at the opening ceremony that DOT has awarded PIRC as a multiple-use hotel and that the agency recognizes its diligent efforts in compliance set forth by the Department and other agencies.
Aside from top-of-the-line service, housed within the newly-constructed South Wing are 95 Superior Rooms, all of which feature comfortable bedding, working desks, mini-bars, sensor-activated air-conditioning, in-room technology such as IPTVs, bedside USB ports and complimentary Wi-Fi, and modern bathrooms with standalone rain showers. Five additional Suites will also offer Nespresso machines and separate living areas. Each room brings distinctly Kapampangan atmosphere with photo display featuring local arts and culture synonymous to a total Kapampangan lifestyle that is creative, warm and friendly.

Upon opening, the new 100-room South Wing will accommodate all business guests, who will be able to use the hotel’s outdoor pool, well-equipped fitness center, HUES all-day restaurant, lobby lounge and “grab & go” snack zone. Three meeting rooms are available for corporate guests, and those looking forward to retail therapy will enjoy instant access to the SM City Clark shopping mall, which is located next door.
Meanwhile Mabalacat City mayor Cris Garbo shared that the opening of the new south wing is a bold attempt to step up its “A” game in promoting diverse hotel services in the country while fostering Filipino warmth to travelers. Park Inn by Radisson Clark, which was recently awarded the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for the fifth year in a row, has become an important hotel for Filipinos who need to quarantine when they return to their home country. The existing 154-key North Wing will continue to accommodate Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs). The hotel has been SGS certified and adheres strictly to the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol, and quarantining guests will not be able to access the hotel’s public areas and facilities.
