BALANGA CITY — The Department of Health on Friday delivered at the Bataan People’s Center here additional vaccines against the coronavirus disease.
The provincial health office headed by Dr. Rosanna Buccahan received 1,390 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines which are intended for the remaining medical frontliners belonging to Priority Group A.
The newly arrived vaccines were stored at the cold chain storage facility of the Bataan People’s Center at the Capitol compound that will serve as centralized vaccination area of the province.
The government-run Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center received from the DOH 417 doses of CoronaVac last Saturday and 1,420 doses of AstraZeneca the following Monday.
The vaccines were administered at the annex of the state-owned hospital in Balanga City to workers of BGHMC, Mariveles District Hospital and the JC Payumo Memorial Hospital in Dinalupihan from Monday to Friday.
Vaccination will continue at the Bataan People’s Center on Monday, March 15.
