SUBIC, Zambales – A Wanted Person in Isabela was arrested by joint operatives of 301st Maritime Police Station, the Subic police and the San Agustin, Isabela police Thursday at the Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction Corp. Philippines yard in Barangay Cawag.
Elmerson Agustin y Ignacio, aka Edgar Aglian, 46, of Sitio Agusuhin, Barangay Cawag, Subic and with permanent address at Barangay Rang-ay, San Agustin, Isabela, was arrested by virtue of an alias warrant of arrest issued by Judge Bonifacio T. Ong of RTC Branch 24, Echague, Isabela dated Oct. 30, 2008 under Criminal Case # 24-1419 for frustrated murder with recommended bail of P200,000.
The arresting officers were led by Major Samuel Reyes of the Maritime Police, Lt. Raul Corpuz of Subic PNP, and Capt. Prospero Agonoy of San Agustin, Isabela PNP.
The suspect has been placed under the custody of Isabela PNP.
