The governor and the mayor have discussed the plan with city and provincial school and sports officials who wanted the project implemented soonest.
It will rise on a 15-hectare land in the upland village of Dangcol in this city.
He said that the complex will have quality facilities where big sports events can be held and can be offered for use not only by athletes in Bataan but from neighboring areas as well.
Garcia said there was also a plan to construct an integrated school within the complex to cater to the growing number of students in the city.
