CABANATUAN CITY – Fourteen persons, including eight detainees and a 1-year-old girl, were found positive of coronavirus disease raising the total number of confirmed cases in Nueva Ecija to 222 on Sunday.
The Nueva Ecija inter-agency task force. Said the detainees who were exposed to their 45-year-old fellow inmate at the Cabanatuan City police station have been placed in an isolation area in this city.
Also in the list were the 1-year-old girl from Gen. Natividad, a 50-year-old man from Sto. Tomas North, Jaen; and a 43-year-old man from San Roque, San Isidro. A 38-year-old radio operator from Cabiao town, 42-year-old overseas Filipino worker from this city, and a male driver of Sangitan East rounded up the new confirmed cases of the dreaded virus.
Of the 222 total, 105 have recovered, seven have died,and 106 are active, the NEIATF reported.
