OLONGAPO CITY — A mother and her two children were listed Wednesday as the latest cases of the coronavirus disease here.
Mayor Rolen J. Paulino Jr., chairman of the city inter-agency task force, said the mother, PHOC–21, is 45 years old; her daughter, PHOC-22, is 19; and her son, PHOC-23, is 18.
The mother and her children were among six “significant contacts” linked to a confirmed case, PHOC-19, identified through contact tracing by the city health office and subjected to RT-PCR tests yesterday.
All three patients are asymptomatic and placed under strict isolation.
The remaining three who tested negative of Covid-19 were isolated and on continuous home quarantine and monitoring by the CHO.
Paulino reiterated his appeal to his constituents to strictly observe quarantine protocols even as he assured them that the city is in close coordination with the Department of Health regarding the Covid situation.
