BALANGA CITY — Gov. Albert Garcia on Wednesday issued Executive Order No. 36 that establishes the local contact tracing team (LCTT) and management in Bataan in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Through the order, LCTT will be formed in the towns of Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Pilar, Orion, Limay, Mariveles, Bagac, and Morong and the lone City of Balanga.
“Ito’y upang mapangalagaan ang kaligtasan ng ating mga kababayan laban sa Covid–19,” the governor said.
Each team will be headed by the local police chief and the municipal/city health officer who will take charge in the search for Covid–19 positive cases in their respective area.
He said that immediate identification of positive cases and whom they got in contact with will result in fast application of medical services. The team, he added, can also contribute to imparting knowledge about the pandemic in the community.
