BALANGA CITY — The provincial health office on Saturday night reported that no new cases of confirmed coronavirus disease have been recorded in Bataan for four days straight since Wednesday, while 13 health workers have recovered from the virus.
Gov. Albert Garcia said that per PHO report released a few minutes before 7 p.m. showed that the number of confirmed Covid–19 cases remained at 107 with the number of recoveries increasing from 24 to 37.
The number of deaths remained at five.
Newly-recovered were eight from Balanga City – 33-year–old male, 33–year-old female, 54-year–old female, 44-year–old male, 25-year–old female, PH5614, PH5793, and PH5821; three all females from Orion – 33 years old, 42 years old, and 63 years old; a 32-year–old male from Pilar, and PH5814 from Samal.
Of the 2,156 who have undergone Covid testing, 1,496 were found negative while 553 are still waiting for the result.
