CLARK FREEPORT — The already multi-tasking Vivencio Vince Dizon has just been given yet another concurrent assignment in the Duterte administration.

Already president-CEO of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority since the ascendancy of the Davao mayor to the presidency, and last September appointed Presidential Adviser for Flagship Project, Dizon was named deputy chief implementer of the government’s response against Covid-19.

“Please be informed that Mr. Vivencio B. Dizon, president and CEO of the Bases and Conversion Development Authority and Presidential Adviser for Flagship Program and Projects, is hereby designated as deputy chief implementer of the Philippines’ declared national policy against Covid-19, effective immediately,” read the May 1, 2020 memorandum of Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea to the InterAgency Task Force For the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases and to Secretary Carlito Galvez, Chief Implementer of the Philippines Declared National Policy Against Covid-19.

Dizon also distinguished himself in the development of the New Clark City, foremost in the establishment of the New Government Administrative Center and the Athletes Village that hosted sports events in the Southeast Asian Games last year.

The same facilities have now been reconfigured to serve as Covid-19 health facilities.
