CLARK FREEPORT – The Clark International Airport issued an advisory today, March 31, announcing the temporary suspension of all commercial flights effective Friday, April 3.
The Luzon International Premiere Airport Development, the consortium which operates and maintains CRK, said that due to continuing travel restrictions being implemented in the country and abroad as a measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, air carriers flying out of CRK have announced the temporary suspension of all commercial flights, effective 3 April 2020.
Consequently, P2P bus operations will also be temporarily suspended. Flights are expected to resume as travel restriction eases, it added.
Meanwhile, LIPAD said CRK will remain operational to service essential cargo flights and support the Philippine government in its efforts to flatten the curve (#flattenthecurve).
Lipad said the CRK management takes this opportunity to thank all frontliners, most especially the CRK team members, who continuously serve the public during these challenging times.
It added that CRK “will continuously post any updates received from our partner airlines.” Passengers are also encouraged to connect with their airlines for specific flight updates.
