CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Families severely affected by the enhanced community quarantine can now look forward to having food in their households as the Police Regional Office 3 launched its Food Bank project.
Central Luzon Police regional director Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia said his command has partnered with national government agencies, private companies and other stakeholders “to facilitate the cycle of food donations.”
He said donations of non-perishable and much needed food items are systematically categorized and stored in available spaces which are in close proximity to evacuation centers within the region.
“We hope to raise tons of food to distribute to our communities who are going through these tough trying times and we encourage everyone to make a difference by participating in this project,” Sermonia said.
