ANGEL LOCSIN follows in the footsteps of Piolo Pascual as the Optical Media Board’s anti-piracy ambassador.

This was announced in a press conference held on December 20, 2019 by OMB.

The government agency is tasked to look after the “mastering, manufacture, and replication” of optical media, including movies and TV shows.

The actress, who last starred in the ABS-CBN primetime action-drama series, The General’s Daughter, is also known for her humanitarian work, personal advocacies, and support of the Philippine National Red Cross.

For this reason, Angel has been deemed suited to promote OMB’s drive against piracy known as #NgayonNa campaign.

According to a press release posted on OMB’s website, the agency believes that those qualities of Angel correlate with its own advocacies.

Her new role involves active participation in activities that promote the “intellectual rights of producers, composers, and media creators.”

Angel appears in OMB’s latest infomercial produced by Neil Arce, who happens to be her fiancé.

Directed by Tey Clamor, the infomercial also features actor Cholo Barretto.

Angel is the second showbiz personality to be named anti-piracy ambassador after ABS-CBN actor and movie producer Piolo Pascual.

ALL OUT SUNDAY (AOS), cast members have been revealed Alden Richards, Rayver Cruz, Julie Anne San Jose, and Glaiza de Castro will headline GMA-7’s new noontime variety program, All-Out Sunday.

GMA-7 released a teaser last December 21, featuring the Kapuso artists who will be part of the new program to replace Suday PinaSaya on January 5, 2020.

Alden Richards led the AOS teaser with the question, “Ready na ba kayong mag-all out?”

Julie Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Rita Daniela, Ken Chan, who were part of the late-night variety program Studio 7, were shown next.

Studio 7 hosts and Kapuso prime singers Christian Bautista, Aicelle Santos, and Mark Bautista are expected to top-bill the show’s musical numbers along with The Clash season one winner Golden Canedo and season two winner Jeremiah Tiangco.

The Clash graduates Garrett Bolden, Jong Madaliday, and Thea Astley are also part of the show.

Kyline Alcantara, Miguel Tanfelix, Gabbi Garcia, Migo Adecer, and Derrick Monasterio are also set to give a youthful vibe to AyOS.

StarStruck 7 Ultimate Female Survivor Shayne Sava and Cassy Legaspi are also included in the cast.

A new boy group, led by Mavy Legaspi, is also expected to be seen in the show.

The boy group is also composed of StarStruck 7 Ultimate Male Survivor Kim de Leon, StarStruck graduates Radson Flores, Karl Aquino, and Abdul Raman, Isko Moreno’s son Joaquin Domagoso, and Prima Donnas leading man Vince Crisostomo.

The comedy of AOS will be supplied by Glaiza de Castro and Paolo Contis, along with comedians Boobay, Super Tekla, Betong Sumaya, StarStruck 7 First Princess Lexi Gonzales, and Cacai Bautista.

The teaser ended with what seemed to be the show’s tagline.

Alden asked, “Ayos ba?”

Boobay and Tekla then answered, “Allout na!”

All-Out Sunday marks the comeback of GMA-7 in producing a musical-variety program for the Sunday noontime slot, after SOP (1997-2010), Party Pilipinas (2010-2013), and Sunday All Stars (2013-2015).

In 2015, APT Entertainment Inc. took over the Sunday noontime slot of GMA-7 as a blocktimer when it produced Sunday PinaSaya.

After more than four years on air, GMA-7 decided to take over the slot again with an original production.

Sunday PinaSaya is expected to air its last episode on December 29, 2019.

On December 8, 2019, GMA-7 first launched teasers of AOS using the hashtag #AyOS, which was later revealed to be an acronym for the title All-Out Sunday.

On December 13, 2019, a report came out that Alden and Julie Anne will serve as front-liners of AOS, which Julie Anne did not confirm at the time.

AOS replaces Sunday PinaSaya, which started airing on August 9, 2015.

Prior to that, SPS was the replacement of the GMA Network-produced show Sunday All Stars that aired its finale episode on August 2, 2015.
