CILA hosts 16th golf tourney at Mimosa

    CLARK FREEPORT – The Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA) held its 16th anniversary golf tournament on May 17 at the Mimosa Golf and Country Club here for the benefit of its socio-civic and business development projects.

    CILA Vice Chairman and Tournament Committee Head Rene Philip Banzon disclosed that 65 players joined their tournament.

    “The association is encouraging members and golfers to participate in this annual sporting event and become a part of the fundraising efforts of CILA,” he said. 

    CILA, the official voice of locators at the Freeport, is active in social service missions to its immediate communities in Pampanga and Tarlac. It also sponsored seminars and trainings on business and finance. 

    Eduardo Oban Jr, Clark Development Corp. (CDC) chairman and officer-in-charge, led the ceremonial tee-off with CDC Director Frankie Villanueva, CILA President Jeff Pradhan, Banzon, CILA Director and Tetsuya Kuze.

    The top winners are Nor Salas (Class D), Justin Flores (Class B), Joven Liwanag (Class A), and Moon Kyung Won (Ladies champion).

    The special awards are:  Rey Lapid, nearest to the pin; Moon Kyung Won, longest drive; and Jun Canlas, accurate drive.
