An Isuzu truck being used as a showboat of reelectionist Vice Mayor Jimmy T. Lazatin was rammed by a black Ford Expedition being driven by Cynthia B. Hizon, 47, along Lazatin Boulevard here at around 10:20 am this morning.
According to a traffic incident report from the PNP Community Assistance Center 2 in Barangay Dolores here, the Isuzu truck driven by Adrian M. Buduan, 24, was crossing the road towards Lazatin Boulevard when the Expedition, traveling from north to south direction, hit the truck’s left middle portion causing injury to Buduan.
The front left portion of Hizon’s Ford Expedition, which is registered to one Carlo Hizon, was wrecked after ramming the truck.
City Councilor Angie Hizon, the sister of Carlo, is contesting the vice mayoralty seat from Vice Mayor Lazatin who is running for reelection.
