CLARK FREEPORT – A beauty and wellness clinic with a luxury café as its waiting room is now open for business at a premium location in this freeport.
E-Derm and En Croute Café located at the ground floor of the Mercedes Benz Center along M.A. Roxas Boulevard here was inaugurated over-the-weekend led by the clinic’s husband and wife proprietors Drs. Eder and Aenelle Dizon and the café owner Chef Vince Garcia.
Crystal Catacutan, E-Derm branch officer, said lasers, facials, assessment of skin allergies and cosmetic surgeries and even vaginal rejuvenation are offered by the clinic.
The E-Derm Clinic Clark is the fourth branch to be opened with one in Robinsons Starmills, Marquee Mall and Guagua, Pampanga.
Catacutan said Dr. Eder is a cosmetic surgeon while his wife Dr. Aenelle is a dermatologist from the Philippine Dermatological Society.
“I treat skin diseases, hair and nails as well as aesthetic services,” Dr. Aenelle said.
“We have an operating room at Robinsons but basically here we have lasers like all the other dermatologists do with three treatment rooms,” she added.
According to Dr. Aenelle, the newly opened branch will be targeting medical tourism. “We are opening up a new branch in Clark because we know that Clark is a booming place and the best place for medical tourism because of its close proximity to the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport,” Dr. Aenelle said.
She said a client from South Africa came all the way here for a three-day visit for derma and dental treatment.
Dr. Aenelle explained that they have a laser machine called Fotona Dynamis made in Slovenia which does a lot like tightening of the face and other parts of the body, hair removal and pigment rejuvenation among others. She added that it can even cure erectile disfunctions in males.
Dr. Aenelle said clients prefer non-invasive surgery and their machine uses laser technology which sort of contracts the skin.
“We partnered with Chef Vince for a new concept of café,” she said.
According to Chef Vince Garcia, the newly-opened ventures are the first to have a derma and café together.
Garcia said in New England “en croute” means luxury café while in France it means anything that’s wrapped in pastries or in a pastry crust.
Garcia said some of the clients who might want to relax while waiting for their procedures can now enjoy the healthy food offerings of the café especially the pies like apple and pecan as well as decadent cakes and of course the coffee which is 100 percent Arabica. “In the long run we will be offering afternoon tea,” he added.
E-Derm is open from 10 am to 5 pm while the café is open from 11 am to 11 pm.
