A DAY after reports came out that they supposedly called it quits, Neil Arce posts an Instagram Story showing that he’s out on a date with girlfriend Angel Locsin.

Did Neil Arce just quash his rumored breakup with Angel Locsin by posting a video of them together?

Neil and Angel have yet to issue an official statement addressing recent speculations that they’ve called it quits after eight months of being in a relationship and 11 months of dating.

But in his Instagram Story last Saturday afternoon, October 13, Neil showed a video of him and Angel having an animated conversation inside his car.

Angel was in the passenger seat, expressing her surprise at what appeared to be a YouTube video showing the Kapamilya actress’ supposed participation in a “Rules of Survival” gaming session.

Neil asked Angel, “Ikaw ba iyan?”

Angel replied, “Hindi ako ‘to. Kaboses ko siya, pero hindi ako [ito].”

Neil wrote this text as caption in reference to Angel’s poser, “Hindi po siya yung kalaro mo [laughing with tears emoji] Kung sino man yan pakihanap para magamit sa dubbing”

Netizens who saw the video noted it was proof that Angel and Neil are still very much together.

Rumors of the couple’s breakup surfaced last week when netizens started asking why they haven’t been posting any pictures together lately.

Other supporters of the couple pointed out, however, that it was not unusual as Neil was known stay on the sidelines like when Angel went solo at the ABS-CBN Ball last September 29.

Neil was not with Angel at the red-carpet event, but he was there with her in the hotel room when she was prepping up for the ball with her glam team.

While they readily agreed to be photographed together, Neil dodged queries about the status of his relationship with Angel and made it clear that he prefers to keep things between them as low-key as possible.

VICE GANDA appeals to Senators for the passage of the SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression) Equality Bill or Anti-Discrimination Bill.

“Bigyan niyo kami ng sarili naming puwedeng puntahan, at magiging possible lang iyan kung maipapasa ang SOGIE Bill.”

Vice appealed for Senate approval of the Anti-Discrimination Bill, commonly known as SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression) Equality Bill.

He voiced his appeal especially to the senators who opposed the bill earlier today October 15, Monday, on It’s Showtime.

In his appeal, he recounted being shunted from using the men’s room and women’s room in public places.

The 42-year-old comedian-host said: “Kaya nga yung SOGIE Bill dapat ipasa na ng Senado. Nananawagan kami kay Senator Joel Villanueva at saka kay Senator Tito Sotto para ipasa na iyan.

“Kasi ang hirap, e. Para walang gulo, ayaw niyo kami dyan, ayaw niyo kami dito, o, e, di bigyan niyo kami sarili.”

Apart from Senators Sotto and Villanueva, Senator Manny Pacquiao also opposed the bill.

Vice said that the Anti-Discrimination Bill would not just benefi t members of the LGBTQIA community, but everybody as well.

LGBTQIA refers to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, and asexual or allied people.

According to Vice, “We feel so unwelcome, we feel so uncomfortable and other people also feel so uncomfortable.

“So for everyone to feel comfortable, bigyan n’yo kami ng sarili naming pwedeng puntahan, at magiging possible lang ‘yan kung maipapasa ang SOGIE Bill.”

Furthermore, Vice pointed out that a number of countries have enacted an Anti-Discrimination Law to protect the rights of the LGBTQIA community.

“Ewan ko, sa Pilipinas na lang walang ganyan, di ba? Parang nakakaawa naman ang Pilipinas.

“Lahat ng ibang bansa may mga Anti-Discrimination Law. Sa Japan nga kakaibang batas na naman nila para sa LGBT, ang advanced.

“Dito, parang napaghuhulihan na ho tayo.”

Apart from Vice, other celebrities and personalities also expressed their support for the SOGIE Bill, including Anne Curtis, Heart Evangelista, and Dingdong Dantes, Christine Bersola-Babao, and basketball player Arnold van Opstal.

Apart from addressing discrimination to members of LGBTQIA community, the SOGIE Bill aims to provide access to members of the community to health services, employment, and education.
