SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Subic was recognized for its strong revenue collection performance after exceeding its assigned target for August 2026 by ₱248.75 million.
The recognition was given during an awarding ceremony on September 17, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center in Clark, Pampanga, hosted by the BOC–Port of Clark.
The Port of Subic, under District Collector Atty. Geniefelle P. Lagmay, collected ₱4.422 billion in August, surpassing its assigned target of ₱4.173 billion by ₱248.75 million, or a 6 percent positive deviation.
BOC Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno presented a Certificate of Commendation to Collection District XIII and the personnel of the Port of Subic in recognition of their revenue performance.
Lagmay personally received the commendation on behalf of the Port of Subic and its workforce.

The recognition underscores the port’s contribution to the government’s revenue generation efforts while fulfilling the BOC’s mandate to facilitate legitimate trade, protect the country’s borders and deliver efficient customs services.
It also highlights the importance of sustained revenue performance, accountability and professionalism in customs operations, consistent with the BOC’s Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization (IAM) Movement.
