Mayors Jesse Concepcion of Mariveles and Rommel del Rosario of Bagac have announced the candidacy of their sons who will file their Certificate of Candidacy between October 12 and 16, 2015.
The two parents are on their third and mandatory last term as municipal chief executives.
Running for mayor to replace their fathers are Lawyer Ace Jello Concepcion in Mariveles and Gabriel del Rosario in Bagac.
Ace Jello is a member of the Sangguniang Bayan of Mariveles while Gabriel is former national chairman of the Federation of Sangguniang Kabataan and sat as ex-officio member of the Bataan Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
They are both allied politically with Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia and his father 2nd District Rep. Enrique Garcia Ace Jello is expected to face Mariveles Vice Mayor Victoriano Isip and SB members Arvin Zurita and Mel Lopez who all announced full support to the Garcia family.
Opponent of Gabriel is still unknown.
