MARIVELES, Bataan – Big trucks on Monday began queuing again for liquefi ed petroleum gas at the Liquigaz LPG Terminal in Alas-Asin, seaside village in this town facing Corregidor Island.
Per physical count, there were 47 vehicles known as LPG tankers parked at one lane of the road, the first in the line more than 200 meters away from the Liquigaz loading bay. Villagers said there were more vehicles last Friday and Saturday but the number thinned out after the tankers were filled with LPG on Sunday.
They said that two boats with the cooking gas arrived Saturday night. One of the boats was still unloading at the Liquigaz wharf. Some drivers said they arrived in Alas-Asin only Sunday and were hopeful that their trucks will be loaded earlier. “Mabilis naman ang pagkarga ngayon,” they said.
