Clark, Pampanga — The Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP) marked its 10th anniversary with The HeART of Service, a forum at Quest Hotel and Conference Clark held in partnership with Filinvest. The event gathered hospitality leaders, entrepreneurs, and community stakeholders to explore the heart, craft, and business behind hospitality.
The January 31 forum featured Bryan Kong of Now Now, Luis De Isasa Muñoz of Bolero, Bong Sagmit of Tito Boy, Vince Garcia of CVG Culinary Group, and Mitch Otsuru‑Park of Yufuin and the Hotels and Restaurants Association of Pampanga. Each presented perspectives on hospitality, ranging from culinary innovation and cultural heritage to organizational leadership and industry practice.
Albert Guzman, YEP President, opened the program by underscoring the purpose of the gathering. “When we started the Heart of Service it came from a very simple idea that service is learned through people not just processes, through stories, mistakes, and moments that don’t always make it into manuals or presentations. And this is the kind of space that matters where experience is shared and learning feels grounded,” he said.
He also acknowledged the support behind the milestone event. “I’d like to extend our thanks to Filinvest for making this gathering possible and for supporting spaces where learning, service, and community can come together,” Guzman added.
The forum was held against Clark’s expanding tourism backdrop. The international airport now serves 21 destinations with more than 200 weekly flights and a six‑million passenger capacity. The Freeport Zone hosts over 151,000 employees. Visitor arrivals reached 34.8 million in 2022, while meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions attendance totaled nearly 808,000.
The HeART of Service provided a platform for knowledge exchange and contributed to capacity building in Pampanga’s hospitality sector.
