CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A new two-storey school building has been inaugurated by the Provincial Government of Pampanga at the San Vicente Pilot School for Philippine Craftsmen in Barangay Bulaon Resettlement here.

Another milestone in the province’s continuing investment in education, the project was completed after six months of construction with P8.8 million allocated by the Capitol during the gubernatorial incumbency of now Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda.

The newly inaugurated building consists of four fully equipped classrooms designed to serve as workshops for technical-vocational students. Each classroom is furnished with wall fans, blackboards, and student chairs to support hands-on learning and skills development.

The vice governor was joined in the inauguration by Bacolor Mayor Diman Datu, school officials led by principal Narciso Mendiola Jr., and Angie Blanco, chief of staff of the vice governor.

School officials shared that the inauguration coincided with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the San Vicente Pilot School for Philippine Craftsmen.

The new facility is expected to benefit more than 1,300 technical-vocational students currently enrolled in the institution.

Prior to the end of his second term as governor, Pineda allocated approximately ₱400 million for the construction of school buildings across the entire province, underscoring the Capitol’s commitment to strengthening the education sector. The San Vicente Pilot School for Philippine Craftsmen was originally located in the Municipality of Bacolor and was transferred to Barangay Bulaon Resettlement following the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo.
