ANGELES CITY – Persons with disability in Barangays Agapito Del Rosario and San Nicolas here received Media Noche packages on Dec. 29 from the Red Pillars Foundation, in partnership with the Office of 1st District Rep. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. and in cooperation with the city’s PWD Affairs Office.
Red Pillars provided the packages each worth P500 while Lazatin donated P1,000 financial gift to each of 116 PWDs in Agapito Del Rosario and 119 PWDs in San Nicolas via house-to-house distribution.

Red Pillars is a non-government organization headed by Department of Transportation Assistant Secretary for Right-of-Way and Site Acquisition IC Calaguas and Lazatin’s chief political affairs officer Reina Manuel.
“We hope to be a consistent source of goodness to our kababayans. We intend to do this every year to more families in Angeles City — our beloved hometown,” Calaguas said.
“At the end of the day it’s not how much you give, but the spirit of doing something for our kababayan,” Manuel said.
Red Pillars and Lazatin are also set to partner with Rise against Hunger Philippines and Grab Philippines to provide free hot meals to more than 2,000 students in the First District of Pampanga beginning 2026.

To recall, during Lazatin’s term as Angeles City mayor, he provided yearly financial assistance to PWD residents, solo parents, and senior citizens.
“Masaya ako dahil sa pamamagitan ng ating partnership with Red Pillars ay naitutuloy natin ang ating programa na sinumulan noong tayo ay mayor,” Lazatin said.
PDAO chief, Ryan David, thanked Lazatin and Red Pillars for their efforts in providing assistance for the welfare of PWDs.
Meanwhile, Barangay Captains Amelia Torres of San Nicolas and Mauro Mallari of Agapito Del Rosario also expressed their gratitude to Lazatin and Red Pillars.

“Nagpapasalamat ako kay Cong Pogi at sa Red Pillars dahil hindi nila nakakalimutan ang aming ka-barangay, lalo na ang mga PWD,” said Torres.
“Malaking tulong ito sa aming mga ka-barangay, kaya malaki ang aming pasasalamat sa Red Pillars at syempre kay Cong Pogi,” said Mallari.
