CABANATUAN CITY (PIA) — The Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) conducted a leadership turnover as Police Major Johnnyboy Itcay assumed the role of Acting Chief of Police of Bongabon Municipal Police Station, succeeding Police Major Alrick Erana.

Held at the Provincial Command Center War Room, Camp Gen. Mariano Llanera in Cabanatuan City, the Turnover of Command Ceremony was presided over by NEPPO Provincial Director Police Colonel Heryl “Daguit” Bruno.

In his message, Bruno emphasized the continuity of the police mission despite leadership turnover.

“This ceremony serves as a reminder that our mission remains, even in the face of leadership changes. Our strength comes from unity, dedication to duty, and steadfast commitment to the oath we have taken. Let us continue to serve with honor, professionalism, and unwavering dedication. Together, we uphold the trust of the community and the integrity of our service,” he stated.

According to the NEPPO, the turnover aligns with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Focused Agenda of Acting PNP Chief Police Lieutenant General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

It reinforces Police Regional Office 3’s 3Ps commitment—Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism—under Regional Director Police Brigadier General Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., strengthening public trust and ensuring efficient, responsive police service for the people of Central Luzon.
