
CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga (PIA) — The Civil Service Commission (CSC) recognized government agencies in Central Luzon that have achieved the PRIME-HRM Maturity Level II accreditation.
Assistant Regional Director Randy Tababa explained that PRIME-HRM or the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management is a mechanism by the CSC to empower government agencies in transforming their Human Resource (HR) management systems toward HR excellence.
The four core HR systems assessed include recruitment, selection, and placement; performance management; learning and development; and rewards and recognition.
“An agency at Maturity Level II, also referred to as the Accredited Status, is characterized as having a set of defined and documented standard operating procedures for its HR functions, HR decisions are based on established processes and goals, the agency demonstrates continuous compliance with civil service laws and rules, and the HR policies and processes are customized to the agency’s specific requirements, including guidelines for the Equal Employment Opportunity Principle,” Tababa explained.
Agencies the achieved accredited status include the municipal government of Baler in Aurora; and the municipal government of Abucay, and the water districts of Limay and Orion in Bataan.
Achieving the feat in Bulacan were the provincial government; municipal governments of Angat, Pulilan, San Rafael, and Sta. Maria; Plaridel Water District; and Bulacan State University.
Honorees from Nueva Ecija include the municipal governments of Bongabon, Cuyapo, General Natividad, General Tinio, Lupao, Rizal, Quezon, and Sta. Rosa as well as the water districts of Cabanatuan City, Science City of Muñoz, and Talavera.
For Pampanga, recipients were the provincial government; municipal governments of Guagua, Lubao, Magalang, and Mexico; water districts of Guagua and the City of San Fernando; and Pampanga State University.
Tarlac accredited agencies, on the other hand, consisted of the provincial government; city government of Tarlac; municipal governments of Camiling, Moncada, Paniqui, San Jose, and Victoria; and the water districts of Concepcion and Moncada.
Achieving Maturity Level II accreditation in Zambales were the municipal government of Masinloc, Palauig, Sta. Cruz, and Subic.
And lastly, the regional offices of the Department of Agriculture and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources received the same recognition. (MJSC/AJPM, PIA Region 3-Pampanga)
