BALANGA CITY – A houseboy was gunned down by still unidentified men at dawn of Sunday inside the bamboo-fenced house of an Army sergeant in Sitio San Roque, Upper Tuyo, Balanga City where the victim worked.
Supt. Melecio Buslig, Balanga City police chief, said Rendo Moster, 27, sustained three gunshot wounds from still unknown caliber and died on the spot between 2:00 to 3:00 a.m.
Moster worked as house helper of T/Sgt. Elmer Talamera who is assigned at the Arsenal of the Department of National Defense in Limay, Bataan.
Amalia Moster said she heard three gunshots and immediately thought of her husband who was two houses away from their residence. “Walang konsensiya ang gumawa nito sa asawa ko,” she said sobbing.
“Walang kagalit ang asawa ko at wala siyang sinasabi sa akin na nagbabanta sa buhay niya,” the wife said.
Buslig said investigations are ongoing to determine motive for the crime and the identity of the suspect/s.
