Flight cancellations due to Super Typhoon Uwan (‘Fung-Wong’)

UPDATED AS OF 2200H (10:00PM), 08 November 2025, Manila, Philippines – In light of the forecasted severe weather conditions brought by Super Typhoon Uwan (international name: ‘Fung-Wong’), AirAsia Philippines (Z2) and AirAsia Malaysia (AK) have proactively cancelled the following flights going to and from Manila on 09 and 10 November 2025:

As this is a developing situation, guests travelling to or from the affected destinations on 09 & 10 November 2025 are advised to stay updated via the MOVE app (airasia.com/flightstatus), the AskBo chatbot and their registered email for the latest information. 

AirAsia has directly notified all affected guests via email and SMS on their flight status and may avail of the below service recovery options: 

  1. a) Move Flight: One-time free date change within 30 days of your original departure, on the same route within the AirAsia network, at no extra charge and subject to seat availability; OR 
  2. b) Credit Account: Valid for 730 days from the date of issuance to your AirAsia member account; OR 
  3. c) Full Refund: To be issued to the original form of payment.

AirAsia is continuing to monitor the situation and is in close coordination with aviation authorities to provide timely and relevant information to affected guests.
