Central Luzon wage hike to take effect Oct. 30

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) — Minimum wage earners in Central Luzon will receive an increase in their daily pay starting October 30, 2025, following the new wage order issued by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) III.

Under Wage Order No. RBIII-26, daily minimum wage rates for private sector workers in the region will go up by ₱50.00 to ₱80.00, to be implemented in two tranches.

RTWPB III Chairperson and Department of Labor and Employment Regional Director Geraldine Panlilio said the first tranche, amounting to ₱20.00 to ₱40.00, will take effect on October 30, while the second tranche, ranging from ₱30.00 to ₱40.00, will follow on April 16, 2026.

For the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales, the first tranche will set the minimum wage at ₱570.00 for the non-agriculture sector, ₱540.00 for the agriculture sector, and ₱560.00 for the retail and service sector.

The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board III issues Wage Order No. RBIII-26, granting a ₱50.00 to ₱80.00 increase in the daily minimum wage for private sector workers in Central Luzon. The adjustment will be implemented in two tranches starting October 30, 2025. (RTWPB III)

These will further adjust to ₱600.00 for the non-agriculture sector, ₱570.00 for the agriculture sector, and ₱590.00 for the retail and service sector once the second tranche takes effect.

In Aurora, the first tranche will raise the daily minimum wage to ₱530.00 for the non-agriculture sector, ₱515.00 for the agriculture sector, and ₱475.00 for the retail and service sector.

These will go up to ₱560.00 for the non-agriculture sector, ₱545.00 for the agriculture sector, and ₱515.00 for the retail and service sector when the second tranche is implemented.

Panlilio also noted that kasambahay or domestic workers in Central Luzon will benefit from Wage Order No. RBIII-DW-05, which grants a ₱500.00 increase in the monthly minimum wage, bringing it to ₱6,500.00 starting October 30.

The newly issued wage orders, according to RTWPB III, were formulated following public hearings that gathered inputs from both labor and management sectors, alongside a review of the region’s socio-economic conditions, employers’ capacity to pay, and enterprise productivity levels.
