BALANGA CITY (PIA) — A new 42-square-meter daycare center, funded with P3.87 million under the 2024 national budget, now strengthens early childhood education services in Dinalupihan, Bataan.

Located in Barangay Old San Jose, the one-story facility was built under the Department of Public Works and Highways’ (DPWH) Basic Infrastructure Program and is equipped with amenities to support children’s learning and development.

DPWH Bataan 3rd District Engineer Maribel Navarro said the daycare center reflects the agency’s continuing commitment to community welfare, especially the well-being of children.

“This project represents the hopes and dreams of the children, and we are dedicated to enhancing their access to education and childcare services to nurture their developmental needs and provide support for their parents,” Navarro said.

She added that the initiative is in line with DPWH’s mission to strengthen educational infrastructure and uplift the quality of life of residents, particularly in local communities.

The project supports the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in prioritizing investments that improve education, protect families, and build inclusive communities, while giving the village a facility that ensures children a stronger foundation for learning.
